SARAH ELIA, M, PT
Sarah
is a graduate of American International College with a BS in
Biology (1998) and Master Degree in Physical Therapy (1999). A
skilled manual therapist using a wide range of techniques
including muscle energy, myofascial release, and Mulligan
joint mobilization, she emphasizes the importance of
decreasing pain and increasing function through the
development of individualized exercise programs.
Additionally, Sarah specializes in women’s health, including
urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, vulvodynia, and
post-operative procedures. In 2008, she began working with the
pediatric population using biofeedback to treat dysfunctional
elimination syndrome, encoporesis, and incontinence.
Sarah enjoys hiking, biking and running. She is an avid runner
who has participated in several marathons including the Boston
Marathon. Sarah, her husband and twin daughters, live in Somersworth, NH.
